My Cat Has Been Bitten

Most cats will suffer bites from time to time in their lives and this is not particularly distressing since most can be treated with antiseptic solutions however if they are deep you should probably take your cat to see a veterinary surgeon because of the likelihood of such bites becoming infected and getting abscesses is great. A bite from a snake is rare however cannot be ruled out, especially when living in the country and cats bitten by a snake should be taken to the vets immediately to get antivenom.
